Our radiation oncology department has a history of using cutting-edge technology. We have nine years of IMRT experience. More so, we have IGRT experience with two TomoTherapy® HI-ART II units, which we've used to treat over 1,000 patients. Within FY08, we will also acquire Varian Exd, with on-boarding imaging and gating. We use PET/CT simulation and fusion extensively, and will shortly be acquiring 4D simulation ability. We have a well-organized amifostine infusion program. Also, we have a Nucletron V2 HDR brachytherapy unit and have used HDR to treat 1,000 prostate, 500 lung and 160 breast patients. Other technologies we utilize include TheraSphere®, CMS XiO and HI-ART treatment planning and stereotactic radiosurgery with TomoTherapy®.

Currently, our staff consists of two radiation oncologists, three PhD physicists, two dosimetrists, one physician assistant, and 10 therapists. The department sees an average of 50 to 60 patients a day with high complexity level.

Our physicians have onsite offices and are assigned an advanced practice nurse to assist in patient management. You will have responsibilities for both inpatient and clinic patients. However, we do have a full-time hospitalist staff that works in conjunction with the radiation oncologists to manage patient outcomes.

* Initiate and implement plans related to the ongoing development and maintenance of provider relationships with employers, third-party payors and/or Managed Care Organizations to include participation in contract negotiation, barriers to coverage and strategic plans to expand coverage.
* Follow business development cycle to convert a portion of identified prospects and to surface other opportunities for CTCA. Effectively tells the CTCA "story" and influences resulting decisions.
* Maintain a high profile, both personally and for CTCA in all significant regional business and influencer / advocate groups.
* Research, develop and submit complete and accurate territory plans and functional budgets and ensure changes are promptly reflected in budget and territory plan revisions.
* Create and implement contingency plans to address changing market conditions and address potential risks and/or obstacles in the marketplace.
* Through regular status updates, provide management with a clear sense of progress and any marketplace changes (major insurance, employer and reimbursement issues, changes in legislation or in guidelines at the federal, state and local levels) during the course of the performance year.
* Develop and maintain territory prospect database and other informational vehicles to ensure consistent and thorough communication internally.
* Set and/or actively participates in meetings and one-on-one contacts that are appropriately frequent, timely and information-rich.

Education and Experience Level

* A Bachelor's degree is required. A Masters Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

* Significant knowledge in the areas of health care, reimbursement, provider contracting, data reporting, pricing, and managed care principles is preferred.

* Partners with other members of the OIS Leadership Team to manage and implement projects that will drive the success of the OIS operation.

Experience/Education Level

* Bachelor's degree required with strong academic performance; MBA or other graduate degree a plus.
* 10 plus years experience in service sales or healthcare-related field, with a minimum of 5 years experience in sales and/or marketing management.
* Knowledge and experience managing direct-to-consumer sales organizations.
* Call center, e-commerce process and technology experience.
* Demonstrated ability to partner with leadership at all levels of the organization, namely a broader integration with marketing, to leverage relationships and create business solutions.
* Strong data analysis skills.

Clinical Data Analyst

This role plays a vital part in the quality of life of Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) patients. You will be accountable for formulating and executing operational plans and data-driven research to support the retrieval and analysis of clinical data to improve quality, enhance patient safety and augment each patient's quality of care while being treated at CTCA. This will encompass identifying, refining and articulating data elements and dimensions of care needed for completing thorough analysis of clinical data sets. Projects will include a variety of analytic approaches including applied statistics, machine learning/data mining and advanced computational modeling. Results of these analyses will have the opportunity to impact enterprise-wide information assets, including: the Electronic Health Record (EHR), Clinical Research, Quality and Safety, Clinical Guideline and Pathway Design, and Clinical Applications and Reporting.

Successful Candidates will be Distinguished by:

* Masters degree in computer science, clinical informatics, statistics, or a related field, preferred
* Three or more years of experience working with clinical departments (may include R.N., RPh, or other clinical exposure) in a hospital/healthcare research environment.
* Experience applying statistical analyses - such as statistical significance/power testing and correlation of variables - to randomized clinical trials, cohort studies or comparative effectiveness research.
* Experience implementing classification/prediction algorithms such as Bayesian networks, Artificial Neural Networks, SVMs, Decision Trees, etc., and clustering algorithms.
* Familiarity with MATLAB and ability to implement ideas in variety of computer languages
* Three or more years experience with outcomes management and data warehousing.
* Knowledge of the principles and architecture of an Electronic Health Record. A familiarity with Eclipsys a plus.
* Experience with Business Objects Crystal Report Writer and Microsoft SQL Reporting services, EPSI, and Eclipsys Clinical Analytics.

More so, we have IGRT experience with two TomoTherapy® HI-ART II units, which we've used to treat over 1,000 patients. Within FY08, we will also acquire Varian Exd, with on-boarding imaging and gating. We use PET/CT simulation and fusion extensively, and will shortly be acquiring 4D simulation ability. We have a well-organized amifostine infusion program. Also, we have a Nucletron V2 HDR brachytherapy unit and have used HDR to treat 1,000 prostate, 500 lung and 160 breast patients. Other technologies we utilize include TheraSphere®, CMS XiO and HI-ART treatment planning and stereotactic radiosurgery with TomoTherapy®.

Currently, our staff consists of two radiation oncologists, three PhD physicists, two dosimetrists, one physician assistant, and 10 therapists. The department sees an average of 50 to 60 patients a day with high complexity level.

Our physicians have onsite offices and are assigned an advanced practice nurse to assist in patient management. You will have responsibilities for both inpatient and clinic patients. Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)

Oncology - Infusion / Integrated Medicine

Seattle Cancer Treatment and Wellness Center is a patient-focused integrative care facility dedicated to healing and hope for patients with cancer. Oncologist, Naturopaths, Acupuncturists, Mind Body Medicine Therapists, Nurses and support staff are committed to delivering compassionate, integrative cancer care for the body, mind and spirit of patients.

We are currently seeking an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to join our team. We are currently in Capital Hill but will be relocating to Renton (I-5 & 405) by the end of the year.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for providing patient-focused health care performing tasks as directed by the supervising physician and clinical director. Responsibilities also include providing orders under physician supervision during assigned "on call" duty. This position acts as a liaison for oncology patients working in conjunction with clinical and case management staff to ensure the needs of the patients are met.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Manages duties and responsibilities according to clinic schedule and/or as instructed by MD and/or Manager.
* Writes or dictates daily progress notes, H+P's, diagnosis, discharge summaries.
* Performs rounds in the infusion care area and writes progress notes as appropriate or instructed by MD or Manager.
* Orders medication, treatment and evaluations with supervising physician. Recommends adjustment as needed.
* Acts as liaison between patient, RNs and physicians
* Participates in endorsement meetings, care conferences, provider meetings, nutrition meetings and other meetings as directed by the supervising physician.
* Shares patient load with physicians by performing physical exams and patient assessments.
* Duties and responsibilities are not all inclusive and may be expanded or changed as deemed necessary by the Practice Administrator.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

* Master's of Nursing (MSN) or RN license;
* Nurse Practitioner board certification (NP);
* Knowledge of and ability to prescribe Category II and above drugs;
* Active DEA number (to prescribe Rx);
* 1 - 3 years of experience as a NP.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

* Oncology experience;
* Critical care experience.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

* Ability to provide compassionate and superior patient care;
* Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
